For Ampega, we developed AIFin as a strategic application for alternative investments. The solution covers core back-office processes, was later expanded with front-office capabilities, and was extended through a Snowflake integration as a reporting foundation.

Business requirements around alternative investments could no longer be handled effectively through distributed and inflexible structures. A central, custom-built application with long-term potential was needed.

The core challenge was to consolidate complex domain processes in one strategic application that could support not only immediate back-office needs, but later expansion stages as well. At the same time, reporting and downstream use could not be treated as an afterthought and had to be considered early in the design.

Back-office Platform

Development of AIFin as a custom application for the back-office life cycle of alternative investments. The solution has been in operational since late 2020 and supports core processes with greater stability, speed, and process quality.

Front-office and Interfaces

Expansion of the platform with front-office capabilities, additional interfaces, and stronger integration into the broader process landscape. This increased the degree of automation and created a stronger basis for further growth.

Reporting Foundation with Snowflake

Creation of a reliable reporting foundation through real-time integration into Snowflake. Operational data from AIFin is now available in a timely and structured way for reporting, data warehouse use, and downstream systems.

AIFin became a strategic software system for alternative investments. The solution supports operational processes, can evolve with business requirements, and provides data in a structured way for reporting and further downstream use cases.
