Interfaces and Integration

We integrate operational systems, external partners, and data platforms so isolated solutions become reliable process chains. Especially in financial services, asset management environments, and established system landscapes, this means fewer manual handoffs, better data quality, and faster processing.

Interfaces that truly connect processes in financial services

Typical Challenges

Typical challenges arise when external data arrives in heterogeneous formats, media breaks create effort and errors, and data has to be enriched, transformed, or redistributed before it can be used reliably. In many cases, operational systems and reporting platforms are not properly connected, while legacy systems do not fit neatly into modern process chains.

What We Contribute

We develop interfaces to partners and third-party systems, convert and prepare inbound data, and automate downstream workflows. We also connect operational applications with reporting and data platforms and integrate legacy applications into reliable data and process flows.

Typical Integration Scenarios

Typical integration scenarios range from connecting external partners such as brokers, custodian banks, kvgs, market makers, Bloomberg, or other data providers to processing and enriching heterogeneous files and data formats. They also include handling master data, market data, bank data, and reporting data from multiple sources, replacing manual email- and Excel-based handoffs with structured interfaces, and passing operational data into reporting, data warehouse, and downstream processes. Depending on the need, we implement these integrations in real time, on schedules, file-based, or message-based.

Typical Outcomes

The result is end-to-end and traceable data flows between source and target systems, fewer manual handoffs, less rework, and fewer error-prone intermediate steps. Recurring data deliveries and downstream processes become more stable, and data becomes more available for reporting, automation, and further digitalization.

Examples from Practice

At Active Core, we implemented broker and custodian interfaces and automated operational workflows. At Ampega, we connected AIFin with Snowflake to provide structured data for reporting and downstream consumers.

Benefits

For clients, that means end-to-end processes instead of isolated solutions, less manual rework, and higher data quality and availability. It also creates a stronger foundation for reporting and further digitalization, with greater operational stability even in established system landscapes.

A concrete initiative needs clear technical and business guidance.

If software delivery, reporting, integration, or project stabilization has become critical, we can use a first conversation to clarify goals, risks, and sensible next steps.
